Reno was in a rural area being left outside to run in the desert, someone found him, contacted rescue and they took him in. After having blood work, fecal testing, a heartworm test and being tested for tick and valley fever, Reno was found to be positive for tick fever. He also had his flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, routine dental care, vaccinations and was neutered after he was successfully treated for tick fever.
