Archie’s, and 3 other Corgis, owner passed away. The housekeeper did not know who to contact so they kept them caged at the house for 9 months – living in their own filth. After a referral from a local rescue group, a Corgi rescue was contacted. The rescue group had a client who had adopted from them before and contacted the client. The client drove out of state and picked up all three dogs. They were in bad shape, needed medical care and to be neutered or spayed. After examination and tests, it was determined that Archie had ear or hearing disorders, skin disorders including mange and trauma (accident or abuse) related disorders. Archie was treated, neutered, given his vaccines and preventative treatments. He is now living in a loving and caring home.
