Corgi rescue received a call from the Humane Society to take Katie. They guessed her age at 15-16 years, but the rescue’s vet felt she was likely closer to 12 years old. Katie was turned over to the Humane Society because the "family was moving." Katie had bladder stones, rotten teeth and back issues. She had preventative treatments; flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, and vaccinations. She required some dental work as well. Katie is now in a home where she will be cared for, given the medication she requires to be pain free and comfortable and loved for the rest of her life.
