Jackson was relinquished to a Corgi rescuer when his owners could no longer keep up with his needs. They got him from a known backyard breeder in the area when he was a puppy and they have since had a child and now have 3 cats. Jackson has never adapted to the cats and was too rambunctious for their child, so he had been living outside. He had some health issues; a chronic issue on his nose that was not remedied with antibiotics, his coat was also in poor condition and his owners mentioned that he may have Lupus but they were not in a financial situation to be able to do any further diagnostics. At this time, Jackson has so far been tested for skin conditions and will undergo further testing if required for Lupus.
