The Story of Mariah

Last Updated: September 20, 2025

Mariah came into rescue from a rescue from another state. They have been told that she had been in four homes and she was on 8 months old. There were some "behavior" problems and the woman that owned her said that she tried to nip but never broke the skin. Mariah was fine with the transport volunteer and has never attempted to nip anyone in the rescue or her foster home. She had preventative treatments; flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, routine dental care, was spayed, vaccinations, and the following tests; blood work, fecal testing, heartworm test, X-rays. She is a typical young girl who loves to play. She is very bright and learns directions quickly. She loves other dogs and people and is learning her manners from the dogs in her foster home.
