Curley Joe was purchased from a breeder at 8 weeks of age, the owner had two toddlers, and no fenced back yard. Curley would constantly bark when tethered in the backyard and the neighbours complained. The owner was overwhelmed and could no longer keep him. Curley came into rescue at 49 lbs and was pretty crabby. A good foster home helped him lose his excess weight and become the happy and intelligent Corgi he should be.
Curley required the usual preventative maintenance of flea/tick medication, heartworm prevention, vaccines and microchipping. He also had x-rays of his knees and hips due to limping.
Your donations made sure Curley was fit and healthy so he could find his forever home - he even has a "brother" to play with now.
