Here is Rocket's story, in the words of her rescuer:

"Rocket was left at a vet's office to be either sent with rescue or put to sleep after she went down in the rear. A vet tech contacted us about her and we couldn't let this precious girl be put to sleep just because her rear propulsion system had failed. We worked to arrange transport and she's safe now, brushing up on some healthcare and learning to use a cart.

"She's so sweet and happy. She drags herself around and can move out when she wants to get somewhere. We are working to teach her how to use a cart."

Rocket was rescued in Texas.
