The Story of Kip

Last Updated: March 28, 2018

Here is Kip's story, in the words of his rescuer:

"Rescue was contacted by a volunteer with the Aiken SC SPCA regarding a young male corgi that had been surrendered. His previous owners were unable to control his behavior, and surrendered him. This volunteer felt the dog needed to be placed by a breed rescue, in that applicants have experience with corgis, and this young dog just need basic behavioral training. He does not have any aggressive tendencies, is simply an out-of-control young corgi, just out of puppyhood. Kip was found to have a cruciate ligament rupture when brought into rescue.

"Kip has shown to be an affectionate dog, in spite of his injury upon coming into rescue."

CorgiAid supporters have helped Kip get the medical care he needed, including surgery to repair his knee. Thank you!
