The Story of Elle

Last Updated: September 19, 2017

Here is Elle's story, in the words of her rescuer:

"The local shelter called us to take this girl. She was turned in because the owner couldn't afford veterinary care.

"Amazingly she is doing much better. UTI was taken care of. She is walking is better on the pain meds, but there is speculation that there is inflammation in her joints, perhaps from a tick born disease. She LOVES to be in the yard and to take car rides. We recently discovered that she likes to play tug. She needs a dental, but with her age and medical issue, this isn't in the plan. It's palliative care. But she is sure enjoying all of the attention and her trips through the drive up window for doggy ice cream!"

CorgiAid supporters have helped Elle get up to speed on her health care, and to get the pain meds authorized by her vet. She feels so much better now. Thank you!

Elle was rescued in Missouri.
