The Story of Biggie

Last Updated: July 02, 2012

Rescuer: Jeanette DeMars at

Here is Biggie's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Biggie's first owner passed away and a short time later his other owner was moved in to a nursing home. No one in the family wanted Caesar so he was taken to a small municipal shelter in Oklahoma. His chances of adoption were next-to-nothing so he was pulled. The day after he was rescued a vet looked at him and said he wasn't going anywhere until his teeth were treated. His mouth was just rotten and he had 15 teeth extracted.
"Once in his long-term foster care, all the stress finally caught up with Caesar and he got a pretty bad case of diarrhea. Fortunately he didn't take long to bounce back after a few days of yogurt he settled down and is doing very well in the country with 2 other corgis."
CorgiAid supporters will help Biggie with the expense of getting up to speed on his health care, so he can go forward and lead the happy retirement he deserves. Thank you!
Biggie, formerly known as Caesar, was rescued in Kansas.
