Here is Elmo's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Elmo was thrown from a moving car and brought to the vet clinic I work at. He didn't have any injuries from the fall, but he is severely constipated. He has a perineal hernia which has caused megacolon. Medical treatment has been unsuccessful and we have consulted a surgeon who believes surgery could be successful. We are actively fundraising for the surgery.
"Elmo is an amazing dog. He would play fetch for hours and hours if allowed. He doesn't make it obvious that he's in any pain at all. Everyone at the clinic he's currently living at has fallen in love with him!"
CorgiAid supporters will help Elmo get the surgery he needs, so he can go forward and live the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
Elmo was rescued by the Trenant Park Pet Clinic in British Columbia, Canada.
