Here is Winston's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Sir Winston made his way to Minnesota and Secondhand Hounds from Texas with a pit stop in Oklahoma. He was a rescue transfer, and we knew when we accepted him that he was HW+. He had been on the slow kill method of HW treatment, but we wanted to get him all better, the sooner the better, so he is about 3 weeks into the 2 month process of making him all healthy again.
"Winston is a total love and broke a few hearts along the way. Alas, all of his fosters thus far have their limit of resident dogs and so we continue his quest for a home of his very own. Sir Winston is definitely best friend material. :) "
CorgiAid supporters will help Winston get rid of those nasty heartworms, so he can go forward and lead the healthy life he deserves. Thank you!
Winston was rescued in Texas, and brought back to health in Minnesota.
