Zoie: Granted November 17, 2011

The Story of Zoie

Last Updated: November 17, 2011

Zoie was born with microphthalmia (tiny eyes). She developed cataracts when just a few weeks old (as do many dogs with microphthalmia).
Zoie does have some useful vision. Her retinas are working well behind the cataracts, according to tests done by a veterinary ophthalmologist.
CorgiAid supporters will help Zoie with cataract surgery. Her clouded lenses will be removed, and replaced with artificial lenses, enabling her to see much better than she currently can, so she can go forward and lead a happy life. Thank you!
Zoie was rescued in Kentucky.
