Here is Callie's story, in the words of her rescuer:
"Callie was turned into a rural shelter because the couple was going to have a baby and move to a new home. Her mouth was horrid, she was not spayed, needed vaccines, and had a great case of Bordetella (which turned into pneumonia). In addition she was frightened of everything and everyone, and especially men.
"Callie is coming out of her shell with the love and patience of her foster mom. She FINALLY will go out the door and even come back in the door. Recently she actually picked up a toy and shook it. A big step for Callie."
CorgiAid supporters have helped Callie get rid of her nasty cough, get spayed, and get a clean and healthy mouth. Thank you!
Callie was rescued in Missouri.
