The Story of Dakota

Last Updated: April 20, 2011

Rescuer: Lisa Gilligan at

Here is Dakota's story, in the words of her rescuer:
Dakota was released from the shelter to rescue.
"Dakota is such a great dog. She is so obedient and lovable. She is one the most well behaved dogs I have ever seen. She is very submissive. She loves to play and loves to follow you around the house. She gets along with other dogs and cats as well.
"We need to get Dakota the surgery she needs to fix her cherry eyes. She has big swollen tear ducts in both corners of her eyes. This is very uncomfortable for her to deal with every day and her eyes are always tearing and goopy."
CorgiAid supporters will help Dakota get her eyes fixed so she can be healthy and comfortable. Thank you!
Dakota is in Arizona.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Lisa Gilligan at for more information.
