Terry/Teddy: Granted April 20, 2011

The Story of Terry/Teddy

Last Updated: April 20, 2011

Here is Terry's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Terry was likely hit by a car 1 yr ago. No treatment provided. Recently he was found as a stray and taken to animal control where owner surrendered the dog.
"Terry has significant medical issues. He is paraplegic and has ulcers on his feet from dragging that are so deep that the his metatarsal bones are visible. He is heartworm positive, has regenerative anemia and elevated liver enzymes.
"Terry has already been assessed by internal medicine, cardiology, neurology and surgery specialists and is being treated. The ongoing large expense will be heartworm treatment."
CorgiAid supporters will help with the expense of getting Terry shined up on his health care, including getting rid of those nasty heartworms. Thank you!
