The Story of Dilbert

Last Updated: April 03, 2011

Rescuer: Maria Woodbury at 4woodbury@sbcglobal.net

Here is Dilbert's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Dilbert came in as a stray to the Humane Society with an injured left hind leg. He went unclaimed, and the HS raised funds ($300) to have an x-ray done to determine injury type. It has been concluded that Dilbert is suffering from a dislocated hip that was left untreated by the former owners. The dislocation cannot be set back in place due to the length that it has been out of socket. The HS seeks support to have an outside vet perform a surgery so the leg can be saved as it is highly probable that he will regain use of the leg.
"Dilbert has a sweet temperament and is affectionate with every one he meets. Dilbert got along with dogs at the shelter before we were asked to foster him. He gets along with our two dogs, a 5yo male cattle dog mix and a 5yo male border collie mix, very well."
CorgiAid supporters will help Dilbert get the surgery he needs to be comfortable, so he can go forward and lead he happy life he deserves.
Thank you!

Dilbert is in California.
