The Story of Pixie

Last Updated: September 29, 2010

Rescuer: Kathalyn Johnson DVM at

Here is Pixie's story, in the words of her rescuer:
"Pixie was at the SPCA and was heartworm positive. They contacted me, as part of Green Country PWC Rescue to see if we could take the dog. Naturally, we said yes.
"Also has respiratory infection, which is being treated with antibiotics. As soon as she has been treated for heartworms, we will be making her available for adoption. We will be holding off on her spay until she has recovered from the heartworm treatment."
CorgiAid supporters will help Pixie get rid of those nasty heartworms, and get spayed, as well as generally getting shined up on her health care.
Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Kathalyn Johnson DVM at for more information.
