Here is Sparky's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Sparky came into rescue with the typical story, moving and can't take the dog with them. Of course, they never did get around to having him neutered, as 'he was such a good boy'.
"Sparky was raised with other dogs and children and for an intact 7 yr. old, he is very well mannered, non-marking, and loves everyone and everything. He has the brightest Corgi smile. He turned 7 years old on July 4, 2010, hence the name Sparky!
"He has the best temperament I have seen in an intact male for a long time. He is overweight but losing it slowly and looking better every day."
CorgiAid supporters have helped Sparky get his mouth cleaned up, and have helped him get neutered and generally shined up on his health care, so he can lead the happy life he deserves.
