Here is Buddy's story in the words of his rescuer:
"Buddy was a stray that sought help with a stranger at her home. When he went to the fence to greet her dogs, his paw was bitten severely and broken. The lady immediately rushed him to her vet who, unfortunately put a wrapped splint on his broken paw. It was 5 days later before Buddy was turned over to Corgi & Critters and by then the would was very infected. We weren't sure for a long while if Buddy would be able to keep his paw or not. After a full month of treatment for his foot, Buddy was finally healthy enough to start HW treatment. Once through his treatment, Buddy was sluggish and would not eat. He was then diagnosed with auto-immune disease and started on steriods.
"Buddy has stolen the heart of his foster mom. With all she has been through with him, she will miss him a lot, but will also be happy when he finds the home for him."
CorgiAid supporters will help Buddy recover from his injury so he can go forward and lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
