The Story of Pops Liam

Last Updated: September 09, 2009

Rescuer: Arleen Rooney at

Here is Pops' story, in the words of his rescuer.
"This dog was rescued from a busted illegal puppymill in Yucca Valley, CA. He had been used as a stud dog and was loaded with ticks and flea debris. He had dried urine all over his body as well as a bald butt from sitting in urine. He was also "soaked in urine". He had a funky smell indicative of allergies and a possible staph or yeast infection. He has an infected ears that need to be flushed. He had a scar on his right front paw which might have been from a wire cut. He was debarked and his hearing is impaired. He had no history, no name, no shot record or paperwork but it appears he must have belonged to a family at one time.
"Despite his origin into rescue, he has a totally sweet disposition and is great with other dogs."
CorgiAid supporters will help Pops get healthy, so he can lead the happy life he deserves. Thank you!
