Here is Darby's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Darby lived nearby in a kennel owned by a suspicious "rescue" group, known to purchase unsold pet store puppies. When they weren't able to resell him for $100, they gave him to me.
"Skinny, friendly little dog with a few behavioral quirks (poo-eater, yuck) and lesions on the tips of his ears that seem to be a reaction to rubbing against the top of too-small plastic crating. Darby is responding well to his improved living situation."
