The Story of Raindrop or Rainy

Last Updated: January 27, 2010

Rescuer: Denise Townsley at townsleyclan@msn.com

Here is Rainy's story in the words of her rescuer:
"Rainy was picked up as a stray on a cold rainy day by the Olathe, KS dog catcher. She was filthy and appears to have been neglected for a while. She is an older dog and is very thin and in poor condition. It is obvious that at some point she was someones pet because she is very sweet and affectionate.
"Rainy is a very nice girl. She loves attention and likes to climb onto your lap and cuddle. She has lots of personality and is a clown that will try to steal things out of your hand and then tease you. She is well behaved in the house but will need a refresher course in potty-training. She is very good with the other dogs in my home but not with my cat. She will play chase with one of my other foster dogs and likes to steal toys from her then prance with her head held high showing off her prize. She likes to chase squirrels and birds in the yard and loves to go for a walk. She wants to be included in everything but just naps if she has to be left behind. Because her mouth hurts she is eating soft food and prefers to have it hand fed to her. Although she can't eat hard biscuits she doesn't want to be left out so she just takes hers and burys it in her crate. Once Rainy gets healthy she will be a joy to some lucky adopter."
CorgiAid supporters will help Rainy get healthy, so she can find her forever home.
Thank you! UPDATE: January 2010
