Fergi: Granted October 01, 2004

The Story of Fergi

Last Updated: October 02, 2004

Rescuer: Beverly Trottier at

Fergi was rescued off the street as a "stray" and placed in the shelter.
Fergi's foster mom says "Fergi was pulled from the shelter by a shelter worker who saw her "light" and requested that I foster her. She was not only pregnant, she was also heartworm positive. Both were true "blackmarks" for anyone to consider adopting her. She was spayed (before delivery) and had a very hard time w/recovery. Once on her feet again - she attended an adoption where a young family fell in love with her. They were vigilant about adopting her, but wanted to make certain she survived the heartworm treatment before they took her home. She has survived all of this and has turned into one of the most outgoing, perpetually happy dogs I've ever known. "
CorgiAid supporters helped with Fergi's heartworm treatment. Thank you for helping Fergi get ready to join her forever family!

This dog is not available for adoption.
