KatieMae: Granted July 20, 2004

The Story of KatieMae

Last Updated: July 20, 2004

Rescuer: Kathleen Mallery at

KatieMae was found wandering in to a business in Nampa, Idaho fairly "beaten up". She was hurt, limping and had dried blood and scabs on the left side of her face and left shoulder. It is unknown but suspected she may have been hit by a car. She was kept for 2 months before being turned over to rescue in a very dirty and matted condition. KatieMae's wounds had healed but she demonstrates severe lameness in all four legs.
KatieMae is a very affectionate, happy girl who gets along with everyone here, sleeps in our bedroom at night and is housebroken and does well in a crate. She has had no accidents since coming here in late May 2004. She is bright and active inspite of being grossly overweight and lame at this time.
CorgiAid supporters will help KatieMae get clean healthy teeth, and will help find out if her painful legs can be helped. Thank you!

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Kathleen Mallery at for more information.
