The Story of Daisy

Last Updated: June 01, 2004

Rescuer: Diane Myers at

Daisy and her sister Molly were owner turn-ins, and ended up in a shelter in South Carolina. Molly is being fostered by another rescuer. Daisy is heartwork positive, a little overweight, and in need of spaying.
Daisy has clearly been pregnant more than a few times. :-( She is very fat, her toenails are very long, and she needs to be treated for heartworms, spayed, and have her teeth cleaned. Poor girl! :-(

Daisy will be fostered until she is healthy enough to go to her forever home. During that time, her foster mom will work on housetraining and other manners to make her the perfect pet. Potential adopters will be carefully screened. Having lived the first 5 years in a barn, we feel that Daisy's next stage of live should be spent in a home, with a comfy bed, healthy food and lots of kisses.
CorgiAid supporters will help Daisy get healthy, so she will be ready to look for her forever home. Thank you!

This dog is not available for adoption.
