Sugar: Granted March 09, 2004

The Story of Sugar

Last Updated: March 09, 2004

Rescuer: Arleen Rooney at

Sugar was an owner surrender due to son's allergies.
Sugar squats and strains for up to two minutes sometimes with just a drop or two of urine resulting. Other times she piddles normally. She had two bladder infections prior to coming into rescue and was on medication for it and special presciption dog food. However, there is something else going on, i.e. stones or crystals.
The dog is very uncomfortable and irritable. Surgery is recommended ASAP.
CorgiAid supporters have paid for Sugar's diagnostic tests, and will be watching over her as she gets healthy again so she can find her forever family.

This dog is available for adoption. Please contact Arleen Rooney at for more information.
