The Story of Radar

Last Updated: March 19, 2023

Radar was purchased by someone in a rural area, and they were unable to deal with his medical issues and said that they were unable to housetrain him. He was surrendered to rescue and at the time he was unable to walk. A veterinary exam and x-rays showed that his hips and knees were fine, but that he had underdeveloped muscles in his hind quarters. It is suspected that Radar had been living in a crate that was far too small for him. Radar has received has his flea/tick and heartworm protection, vaccinations, and had bloodwork, fecal testing and a heartworm test. He has also been neutered. Radar is currently in his foster home where he has been housetrained, enjoys playing with toys and now is able to go for walks – which he loves.
