The Story of Ruby

Last Updated: November 14, 2021

Ruby was surrendered to Southeast Corgi Rescue with 6 other retired breeding dogs. Ruby was diagnosed with a cherry eye when initially examined. She also suffered a serious nosebleed when the veterinary staff attempted to trim her nails, and it was suggested she be tested for a bleeding disorder prior to any surgical procedure. Fortunately, she was negative for the bleeding disorder. Ruby also required the usual tests and preventative treatments. She had a dental, was spayed and had surgery to repair her cherry eye.
