The Story of Chewie

Here is Chewie's story, in the words of his rescuer:

"Chewie was taken to a vet after someone witnessed him being hit by a car. The driver did not stop. He was found to have a broken fibula (2 places), enteral worms and tested positive for heartworms.

"Chewie is an obese, intact male corgi with heartworms and a broken fibula. He will be neutered once found to be healthy enough for surgery."
