Here is Norman's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Norman was found as a stray and ended up in the shelter, who called us. This sad senior boy had bleeding ear infections (which were discovered to be ruptured ear drums, and had caused total deafness), terrible infections in his feet and skin and mouth, and was just in overall poor condition. Thankfully he was heartworm negative, although the other parasites where there. When we went to pick up Norman Thanksgiving weekend at the shelter there was a young woman there who wanted to adopted him, but knew she would never be able to afford what promised to be an incredible vet bill. We agreed to consider her for adoption once Norman was better. She has continued to keep in touch with him. We treated Norman over the month. His infections are clearing up, he lost half of his teeth, and he is totally and irreversibly deaf, but he's feeling good and is almost finished with his medication. The young woman has adopted him, and he is in his forever home now."
CorgiAid supporters have helped Norman get healthy, so he could move on into a happy retirement with people who love him. Thank you!
