The Story of Sammy

Last Updated: August 13, 2015

Rescuer: Kathleen Mallery at castell@frontiernet.net

Here is Sammy's story, in the words of her rescuer:
"Sammy was purchased from a pet store at about 4 mo. of age. Sammy was given away on craigslist because the other resident large dog did not get along with her. Sammy's most recent home turned her into rescue because their time constraints kept them from home 12 hours a day and they didn't feel it was fair to Sammy to be alone all the time. She lived with two young children and shows some timidness from her life experiences.
"It is my opinion, with obedience training and lots of love Sammy can be a confident corgi. She is very loving and bonded to her people.
"Sammy is good with Children and other animals, and plays ball."
Sammy came into rescue with some very large bladder stones. Two were the sizeof walnuts!
CorgiAid supporters have helped Sammy get up to speed on her health care, including surgery to get rid of those painful stones. Thank you!
She is feeling much better now, and instead of being timid is quite outgoing.
Sammy was rescued in Utah.

This dog is not available for adoption.
