Katie Jo, a corgi mix puppy about 9 or 10 weeks old, was found
wandering down a busy road in Kingsport, TN all by herself. A man
brought her to a vet and asked them to find her a good home. Katie Jo
has a wonderful understanding of dog language. She mingled with
dozens of corgis and humans during the weekend of the Tennysea Corgi
Picnic and got along with everyone...even Barney.
Katie Jo is a very smart girl. She learned to use the doggy door and
sit for a cookie while being fostered. She was the best adjusted
puppy anyone at the picnic had ever seen. She was even housebroken.
CorgiAid bought Katie Jo a microchip, so she can never be misplaced
again, and paid for Katie Jo's first shots and worm medicine.
Katie Jo has been adopted by a family in TN. Her new human parents
are both attorneys who work with elderly clients, and they take Katie
Jo and her corgi brother Bogey to work with them. Katie's new name is
Bailey, and she stays busy greeting her parents' clients and
snuggling with them. What a lucky girl!
