The Story of Yoshi

Last Updated: April 14, 2015

Here is Yoshi's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Yoshi came to us from a young couple who had a toddler and another child soon to arrive. They could not afford to keep Yoshi. Upon seeing him I suspected Cushings Disease. He had the infamous pot belly, what we call a beer belly. His first trip to the vet verified Cushings. Then further testing to discover is it was adrenal or pituitary Cushings. That's when the adrenal tumor was found.
"Yoshi is a great little guy who gets along with all other dogs, likes people, and the cats."
CorgiAid supporters have helped Yoshi get rid of the adrenal gland that had the tumor. Thank you! It is expected that he will do well with the remaining adrenal glad as he recovers from surgery and prepares for the next happy chapter of his life.
Yoshi was rescued in Missouri.
