The Story of Parker

Parker came in to rescue with an old injury to his hip. (The vet estimated the injury to be one-two years old.) Parker was very overweight, and could only walk a very short distance before needing to lie down.
His rescue vet determined that he needed a femoral head ostomy in order to be as mobile as possible, but Parker was way too fat to be able to recover well from the surgery.
Parker's excellent foster family worked to help him get into shape for surgery and rehab.
CorgiAid supporters helped Parker get the surgery he needed, to be able to be as mobile as possible as he looks forward to the next happy chapter of his life. Thank you!
Parker was rescued in Wisconsin.
