Here is Hogan's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Hogan was left at a rural high kill animal shelter in Georgia that did NO vetting and they didn't even have scales to weigh a dog. Due to fact he was an owner surrender, he was up for euthanasia without even having a waiting period. His owners surrendered Hogan and a basset hound because they were having a baby. I had a former adopter visit Hogan at the shelter and she said he was an absolute sweetheart. He was raised as an outside dog, but has acclimated beautifully being fostered with 2 cardigans and a mix. Sadly due to being an outside dog, he was heartworm positive and had no vetting done."
CorgiAid supporters have helped Hogan get the life-saving heartworm treatment he needed, so he can move into a happy future as a beloved pet. Thank you!
Hogan was rescued in South Carolina.
