Here is Sugar's story, in the words of her rescuer:
"Sugar was taken to Animal Control after her elderly family died. The children didn't want her. Little Sugar was over weight and had a horribly infected mouth. After some weight loss she had a dental and a few extractions. She was well on her way to better health and certainly a happy girl. Sugar was adopted to a home with another Corgi her age. The girls are best friends and do the famous Corgi race to the fence. She has a new wonderful life.
"Sugar was a bit shy when we got her, but in her foster home she soon came out of her shell. Good food turned her coat from dry and falling out to a beautiful soft coat. With the loss of her teeth was also the loss of a the nasty infection. She is a new girl!"
CorgiAid supporters helped Sugar get healthy, so she could go forward into a happy life. Thank you!
