The Story of Doch

Last Updated: March 22, 2013

Here is Doch's story, in the words of his rescuer:
"Doch lost his person, was given to a younger person who decided they had no time for him, so he put him on CL. We saw the posting, couldn't believe a senior was out there, contacted them and they were willing to work with rescue, so now Doch is with us. He's very adorable, but upon meeting him we were knocked over by his breath.
"Doch is one of the most patient senior Corgis ever. He allows his foster family 3 yr old daughter to love on him and play with him, giving kisses and just being happy.
"Poor Doch lost almost every tooth. He has such bad infections in his teeth he was vomiting and couldn't eat any kibble. He had a very poor appetite. He also was limping and Coughing and we attribute that to the Valley Fever. Since his dental and a few months of treatment with Fluconazole, he is doing much, much better. No further vomiting, gaining some weight and just all around much happier."
CorgiAid supporters have helped this dear boy get healthy (including a clean mouth!), so he can lead the happy retirement he deserves. Thank you!
Doch was rescued in Arizona.
