Juno: Granted August 14, 2012

The Story of Juno

Last Updated: August 14, 2012

Here is Juno's story, in the words of her rescuer:
"Juno's person passed away. A neighbor took her to the shelter to be put to sleep. The shelter employees fell in love with her attitude and called me to see if we could help her, they didn't have the heart to put her down. She suffered a major trauma in the past that seems she received no medical care for and she 'healed' on her own. She was scarred, blind in one eye and had snaggleteeth, besides that most of the teeth were falling out. She looked to have some eye or tissue in the "opening" but no vision that we could see.
"A 'doodlebug'!! Best attitude. For what she must have suffered through, she has no issues with attitude. Other than she wants attention 24/7. Sweetest little girl EVER!!
"Juno suffered unimaginable pain at some point with this trauma. To know she most likely did not receive any medical care for this, that she didn't bleed to death or succumb to infection, that losing her vision in one eye did not cause her distress, is unbelievable and shows us once again, these Corgis have great fortitude....since her 'plastic surgery' it seems she 'knows' she's even prettier now :) She truly holds her head up more, seems bouncier, happier....we KNOW someone is out there that will give her a new forever home :) She truly deserves a life of comfort and love!!!"
CorgiAid supporters have helped Juno get the help she needed to deal with her old injuries. She feels so much better now. Thank you!
Juno was rescued in Arizona.
